Do This privacy
The short version: Do This collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no tracking.
What we collect
Nothing. Do This has no server of its own and makes no network requests. We never see your lists, your to-dos, your contacts or how you use the app. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code.
Where your lists live
- Your own to-dos are stored on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. If you use iCloud backup, Apple backs them up with the rest of your phone.
- A list you send travels inside the iMessage you choose to send, to the people in that conversation. Apple's Messages carries it. It does not pass through anything of ours.
- Who did what is shown as two letters you pick yourself. Do This never reads your name, your phone number or your contacts.
Permissions it may ask for
- Calendar, only if you turn on "Show calendar events". Events are read on your phone to show them beside your to-dos and are never copied anywhere.
- Notifications, only when you first set a reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your phone.
- Photos, only if you pick a custom background (Pro). The photo stays on your phone; what you send is the picture of your list.
Purchases
Do This Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details.
Children
Do This collects no data from anyone, including children.
